Hey friend 👋🏽
My story used to be simple: I was a pharmacist who loved technology.
Then life took me through four full reinventions (pharmacy, software engineering, health informatics, and startups) and somewhere along that path, I discovered something deeper:
Identity is not a label you’re given. It’s a system you can redesign.
I didn’t know that when I stood in the pharmacy at Tamale Teaching Hospital, dreaming of building tools that could fix the problems I saw in healthcare.
I didn’t know it when I taught myself to code by copying tutorials at night. And I definitely didn’t know it when I entered ALX, spending 70 hours a week trying to survive pointer arithmetic in C.
But every pivot taught me the same lesson in different ways:
Reinvention isn’t luck. It’s engineering. And it leaves patterns.
On this Medium, I write about those patterns — the experiments, failures, frameworks, and identity loops behind career reinvention. Some of these come from my past transitions (pharmacist → SWE).
Others come from my current work in health tech and building startups. And many come from the system I now teach: helping smart, stuck professionals redesign their identity and build a life they actually want.
If you’re transitioning careers, reinventing yourself, or simply trying to break the “I feel stuck” loop, you’ll feel at home here.
This is where I document:
1. the systems behind identity change
2. frameworks for clarity, experimentation, and evidence
3. the psychology of career transitions
4. real stories from my own journey
and the ongoing experiments that keep me learning
I once used this platform to stay accountable while learning to code. Today, I use it to stay accountable to something bigger:
Documenting the systems that help people change their lives with intention, not guesswork.
If any of this resonates, stick around. And if you're ready to begin your own reinvention, you can start with the Identity Audit.
Let’s build your next chapter together.
